Product description

This design dates from the nineteenth century France and almost certainly originated from silk weaving mills, associated with the Lyon region. Cole & Son have perfected Carmen, taking the name from a well-known French Opera by Georges Bizet. Carmen is an ornate and graceful damask wallpaper. Screen printed using a subtle flecked metallic ink on soft chalky grounds of old olive, charcoal, grey, cream, and mole.
