Beat By Tom Dixon
Beat Fat is a matte black ceiling light which features a contrasting, golden interior. Made from hand spun brass sculpted by craftsmen in Northern India, the creation of this Beat light is part of an ancient process that takes four days to complete. The interior is re-purposed to refract and reflect a soft and warm luminosity and the architectural scale gives off a greater light output.
Beat is a celebration of the beauty of things created by hand. Hand-raised, welded, beaten and finally skimmed, the Beat shades retain hammer marks from their forming.

The LED module gives three key benefits over a standard bulb fitting - longer life expectancy, energy efficiency and improved performance including dimmability and light control. The integrated LED module is fully serviceable and replacement components and individual drivers are available if needed
