Budinga is an African wood originating mainly from Cameroon and Gabon. 

The trees are up to 30 meters high, with cylindrical stems.

Red-red-brown in colour, with purple veins, it is a heavy wood, comparable in weight to Rosewood.

Highly decorative, especially when an irregular or wavy grain is combined with a natural variation of colour.
