Melt is a beautifully distorted surface / wall light.
Featuring an integrated LED module, this Tom Dixon attractive, mildly hallucinogenic light, this light creates a mesmerising melting hot-blown glass effect when on and a mirror-finish effect when off.
You would imagine that these lights are manufactured using glass, such is the finish, but they are actually lightweight and manufactured with polycarbonate using a high tech manufacturing technique to achieve the perfect melted orb.
Melt is blow moulded and vacuum metallised - techniques that have been developed over several years, working with German engineering and manufacturing experts.
